Educational interactive exhibits are the heart of technology based museums.
Shown here are examples of typical units designed for a continued duty cycle. The wind tunnel is a replica of the USS Langley and has a variable speed fan unit with a scale model Curtiss Hell Diver. Unlike other wind tunnel simulators, this model actually flies in place and is controlled by a wireless system.
The second interactive called "Build a Plane" was designed for preschool/grade school students and uses a touch screen computer system to guide the students through various aspects of aircraft design.
